About me
I started Rooted Rose Coaching as a recently trained Functional Medicine Coach, though I have always been a connoisseur of wellness. I’ve long understood that introspection and self-discovery are powerful catalysts for positive change. Having faced my own personal health and wellness challenges, I come to this work to help others navigate this terrain.
I bring extensive evidence-based training in group facilitation, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral approaches to lifestyle modification, and Mind-Body medicine, along with years of experience in a Zen community. Yet what truly makes a difference is the client’s readiness to take a step forward. Once invited in, my role is to walk alongside individuals and groups who are ready to transform—not into the unattainable person they might have constructed, but -- into the most authentic and wonderful version of themselves. The one that's always been there all along.
My Coaching Philosophy
I believe that every person holds their own answers and has access to their own truth. I believe that we are already whole, and our true self is the person we've always dreamed of being -- we simply need to carve out opportunities to bring this version of ourselves out. My role is not to provide solutions, but to guide individuals inward, helping them uncover the insights, clarity, and wisdom that already exist within themselves. Through this process, transformation is authentic, sustainable, and deeply rooted.
Who I work with
My ideal one-on-one client is someone who feels a spark at the thought of having accountability or a supportive sounding board, someone eager to take steps toward self-discovery and begin to take small anchored steps towards change.
My ideal group is one that is worn out, tapped out, and in need of community connection—people ready to find their way back to themselves through shared support and guidance.
